How fitting it seemed this morning that when the mail was brought in it contained a printed picture of newborn Maggie that I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Maggie has had a picture frame sitting on a shelf in her room for a few YEARS now, with a stock photo of someone else’s baby. (Did I mentioned I’m the WORST at printing and framing pictures?? 🤦🏽♀️😂) Well, it’s a special frame with a special message...and after I placed the picture of teeny little Mags in it, I just happened to sit down with my phone and open FB and to look through my “on this day” posts.
I always get a little emotional this time of year as I scroll through my FB memories each day and read back through all of the heartache, joy, and wonder of Baby Maggie’s Journey. Well, today was no exception. Exactly 5 years ago TODAY I received the phone call from the doctor with the MRI results that proved that little miss Maggie had received the miracle we had all been praying for. It is still completely mind-blowing that God did what only God could do! We are still so, so thankful. I couldn’t imagine life without our little spitfire. 😊
